Cotton and Button and Some Creative Junction

Yesterday was a super long and duper fun day for me. Let me start with the fashion events. The fun, silliness, great movie and insanely yummy food will be shared in the next posts. Yeah, posts, plural. Too many highlights in my Friday this week :D

I was up at 7 and all ready to go at 7.30. Yeah, 7.30, it did not felt like morning to me, it felt like dawn but whatever. Then, I went straight to Teras Kota BSD to see one of the fashion-related events I had been waiting for this couple of weeks, Cotton and Button. The clothes there were more of a daily and casual ones, like tees, pants, sneakers, jackets, truckers, etc. Still, I think the event was cool. The only problem I had attending that event was that I came waayyy too early 50% of the tenants were not even there yet. The event start at 10 and I was all ready-set-go at 9.30. Crazy me. By the way, here are some of tenants that were all ready for me to shoot at 9.30 *sigh*

Done with Cotton and Button I drove my butt off to pick up my friend, headed off to Senayan City and met Tysha from Tysha Lukman's Mannequin for my next must-attend fashion event, JTown Creative Junction. This event was more of a fashion, well some of the stuff there said high fashion, but yeah you guys see my point, right? The other event was more of a tees event and this one was like bodycon, velvet, chunky jewellery, statement shoes sort of event.

Unfortunately, I missed the fashion show. Huhu. Oh, and I should have met Arin from Strawberry and Banana Pancake but she got stuck at home with heavy rain and a taxi that never came. Huhu. Too bad.

Over all, those two events were super cool. I enjoyed them both. You guys should check 'em out some time this weekend. They both are held from 5-7 March 2010. So, you still have time to see 'em. Cotton and Button is at Teras Kota BSD and JTown Creative Junction is at Senayan City. I know they are awfully far away from each other but seriously they are worth the traffic ;)
